Reduce Speed

Is there a way to reset or over ride the reduce speed warning, inorder to put the top up or down? Sometimes, while at a stop with the emergency brake on and clutch in at a complete stop. I get a reduce speed warning and it will not allow me to move the top. Does anyone know how to fix this? I just don't want to get wet, trying to put the top up. I have driven around and the warning goes away, once the dealer said he had to clear warning and it was ok. But it started to do it again, Any suggestions?

Duane

Forget the parking brake. You need to step on the brake pedal to start the cycle. Once started you can take your foot of the brake and carefully roll forward (slowly) if you need to.

I'm have an automatic, but I was wondering if you had to maybe put the shift lever in neutral. Just a thought.

obd2 SCANNER

I t reads the trouble codes that is in your truccks computer active ones and inactive ones it comes with a book and tells you what code is then you can fix and erase the code it plugs in under the steering wheel there should be a wire block there. this is where the dealers plug into and even the diablo programmer plugs into you can get them at most auto parts stores make sure you get the obd2 model and not the obd1 (obd1 is for older autos )
