Unhappy Roof Hyd Oil

OK, Need some advise or help.

I saw the part# for Roof Hyd Oil on a thread and went to my local Dealer for some, so I would have it on hand.

Part# 89022748

They looked it up and it comes in a 16oz bottle, made in Japan, and cost, are you ready?

$75.60 for 16oz, and you thought gas was high.

I did not buy any.

My question: Is there a substitute or cross on this number.
JimG said he thinks Sabb uses the same oil and it is less.

The volvo's use the same product under a different name, but I believed I paid about that much for it.

I would like to add a new ? to this thread OK? With so many new convertibles comimg on the market (Pont G6, Chrysler Sebring, etc) I gotta think there has to be a reasonable cheaper source out there.

Not all the tops are run by electric over hyd systems.

I got in touch with Mark (RSSRTOY), thanks to Roger (Sharptoys) and he has the oil for about $46 bucks plus frt.

I had Mark order me a bottle, I just hope the bottle is small enough to fit in my Safe Deposit Box.

guess you might have to move those stacks of $100. bills around to acommodate the oil.
