screwy electrical problem

OK Fanatics here's one I experienced that I have not read about yet here, any help sure would be appreciated. Before I say what it is I will preface by saying that of course tomorrow I will be bringing it in to be checked out etc so please don't offer advice that I should take it in and have it looked at, that is a given I am just wondering if anyone has had this problem: here it is:

my brake light and my ABS light came on tonight under normal driving conditions. I hit no pot holes or any other weird thing that could have shaken anything loose. It's an 05 with 16k miles on it. Have had zero problems with her up to this point and just recently had oil changed. I was roughly 50 miles from the house when this happened, had no adverse effects to driving it home and it had no problem braking. For a very brief moment while cruising at approximatly 35mph I lost power the speedo etc went to zero and bounced right back up.Has anyone had anything like this happen to them yet.

Thank You Fanatics

I had my ABS light come on for no apparent reason, and when I took it in to the dealer, there was a TSB on it. It was a ground wire with a bad connection.

Well Coz,
My advise to you is take it into the dealer and let them check it.

It could be ANYTHING! I once had a Seville that I had ABS and something else light up on the dash. So I finally go to the Dealer with it and while in a long line waiting to check into the service department I was taking the change out of my ash tray. I looked and saw something wierd in the lighter socket....a penny!! as soon as I took the penny out ALL the dash lights re set. I simply cut out of the service line and went home.. So anything can cause goofy glitches like that. Funny thing the penny never draind the battery or caused the lighter fuse to blow, just the dash lights went wonky.
