Squealing Pig in engine bay

My Magnacharger was squealing like a pig. I though "oh, oh...this is going to cost a lot." After going through all the things that could go wrong I discovered it was just a belt. Switched to a Goodyear Gator Belt and it's humming perfectly. Funny how so many things you think can go wrong when you start hearing sounds in the engine bay. I've been told that the Gates belts used are fine, but eventually start making music on their own. The weather here is amazing and the Tigers just took out the Yankees.....so I guess life is good.

I told the auto store that the Gates number was K061058 and they then gave me the Goodyear Gator Belt. The engine bay just purrs. Hope that helps. It cost just a little over $40 and that's not much considering I thought it was something more serious. My SSR is Magnacharged. You can usually read the belt SN off the belt that you have.
