SSR Fitted OEM Cover

My neighbor just bought a fitted cover for his new 2010 Camaro. I have been thinking about getting one for my SSR just to keep the dust off. I know Chevy made an OEM SSR Cover. Has anyone ever had one and what are you opinon of these covers? Do they promote rust or scratch the paint?

Anyone have a Chevy OEM SSR cover for sale? Anyother makes of covers better?

I have the silver GM SSR cover, the one made for outdoors, and it is a nice cover for the money, too.

I use it indoors mostly. Outdoor covers trap dirt between the cover and paint, a big no-no.

I carry the OEM cover and a choice of other covers from the same pattern and same (Coverking) manufacturer. I have about 10 of the OEM covers and a variety of other ones on hand. I also include a really nice storage bag (MUCH bigger and nicer than the OEM one) with the SSR and Bowtie logos embroidered on it as well. They are $145, with the bag..... actually, I think there is an OEM bag in the box as well.

Shipping is a flat $27 for anyplace in the US.....

Let me know if I can help,

Mike

I purchased one of Mike's Multi-colored Stormproof outdoor car covers last summer but never had a chance to use or even take it out of the box. After the SSR get together on the 19th, I went to put the truck back in the storage garage this last week-end. Found that the garage roof is leaking due to some Oak limb damage. Anyway, pulled out the CoverKing cover expecting a semi-custom fit. WRONG-Mike's cover is as stated with the same fit and cut as the OEM black indoor covers including the same embroidering. This is a great outdoor cover which fits like a glove. Kudos again to Mike for another quality product.
