SSR's at the drag strip

All winter I heard people talk about taking there SSR to the drag strip to see what it will do or some that did mods and wanted to know, Well the strip has been open for a few weeks every where so the big question, Who has had there SSR to the strip and what kind of numbers did it put down

California Speedway in Fontana, California had to move the dragstrip from one side of the big oval to the other. They have it done and are preparing it as we speak. Magnuson is holding a private track day the beginning of July so long as everything works out. I plan to be there to flog the SSR.

Wanted to get a few runs in before i installed the S/C. The track is Perris Auto Speedway - 1500 elev. - uncorrected #'s. Best run was 8.93 @ 84.63mph w/1.90 60ft time.

That is pretty good 1/8 mile Ross without forced air, I thought there would have been more at the strip, Can't beat it on test and tune night, My best is still the last run of last year, 13.19 @ 104 with pretty bad wheel spin, I added Comp 1.85 roller rockers, Push rods, RPM kit and bee hive springs, Made more seat of the pants torque, Was louder to, Wife didn't care for that, Trouble is with more torque you get more wheel spin, Did need that
