The 05 and 06 had some steering updates but that doesn't help ..... make sure that your tire pressure is correct in the front (I run 32-35 with no ill affects) and that you have proper fluid in the PS reservoir.

The 2005 and 2006s have less steering effort than the 2004s, they changed the power steering rack, the new stlye rack will fit but will be expensive

I recently had my 03 steering rack replaced and autoXed it today and noticed major improvements. It was squeaking quite a bit prior to its replacement.

I find that if I open the drivers door and drag my foot it helps keep the SSR upright, with less chances for tipping over.
