Stereo Help??

I was wondering if any of you have any ideas for me.

The audio on my Bose Premium system just stopped working. Power to the unit, all of the CD changer commands work, CD are spinning, radio band selections work, but no audio. When you press the "audio" button that lets you adjust bass and treble settings, nothing happens. It seems as if the unit has been "muted"

I got some advice from Freezer that it could be related to the amp mounted in the box in the roof storage area. I've checked fuses and connections and they seem good.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before I take it back to the dealer.

By the way, this happened when my wife took the truck to have tires mounted, so somone could have inadvertantly done something while trying to turn the stereo off.

I would venture to guess that the head unit (what you see in the dash) has kaput...
Regardless, you will probably need to dealerize it and have it replaced...
Good Luck

Thumbs up Update

I finally took th SSR into check out this problem and was told that the Bose Unit had failed and they had to order another. Well, 1 week later the unit came in and they're installing it tomorrow. I was surprised frankly, that it came so quick, but thought I'd share some positive feedback for a change.

Mine did this about a year ago. It was after I had moved the passenger seat and done a lot of cleaning. From a note on this forum, I tried jiggling the wires on the box under the seat and it came back and hasn't had a problem since. I now vacuum gently under the seat.
