I have not seen this problem listed before. Last week for a brief period of time the clutch pedal would not return to the top without me placing my foot under the pedal and lifting it up. When we stopped for breakfast I checked under the hood for the fluid level. It appeared to be okay. I then jiggled the reservoir a little and moved the fluid hose a little too. After breakfast the clutch worked just fine. Prior to this I had been on a 3,000 mile trip. Red never gave me a problem especially the clutch. I am wondering if maybe there was a kink or stoppage in the hose and when I shook the reservoir and hose that loosen it up. I drove Red this weekend and again no problem. I am curious as what you all might know or think about this.
Gary, I think it's in aprevious thead some where what the problem is but I can not remember. I drive an automatic. Haven't seen you out at a cruise . Next month wife and I plan on going to Windsteads, 103 & Medcalf on the 3 saturday in Sept. Maybe we can meet up. Check out the Great Lakes Section about a couple of the cruises in the area . Good Luck

If you remove the spring under the dash for the clutch pedal it should solve your problem. It is posted somewhere on here but I can't find it right now. Use the search button and keep looking, it is there.

A strange coincidence - after cruizing on Woodward Friday, I had the same problem on Saturday morning! After driving for about half an hour Saturday morning, it wasn't sticking anymore. A first for either of my 6 speeds.
I just got done looking at the thread you quoted. There symptoms are not quite the same as mine. I will do the search here in the next day or so.
I will try to make that cruise night on the 3rd. I made the one in July and it was the best turnout they had in some time, so a friend told me.

From a different thread...not my posts...........
I've been reading old threads about some fanatics having their clutches sticking to the floor at high rpm's (over 5,000). This is what has happened to me (4x's now). The last time it happened was last night and this a.m. I looked under the hood to see the resevior had fluid on it. My question is... How do I find a tech bulletin. I think I'm quoting Frank Belk and the bulletin I'm looking for is 1696563 doc 05-07-001a. Thanks in advance 'cause I know someone will be able to answer my question.
TSB# 05-07-31 001A DOC #1696563 is what I used and got a new clutch kit, master and slave cylinder

That is how mine started. after a few weeks it was all the time. If you are still under warranty get it to the dealer.
