Stop Vehicle Warning in DIC

I've been getting this message frequently, lately. Operators manual suggests that it relates to the cargo cover. Very bumpy roads here; maybe the key fob cargo open button is getting touched inadvertantly. I'll try a key W/O fob for a day and see if that helps. Anyone else been down this path?

Post You're not alone

Sounds like Watch Six had a very similar message. You might want to get an update from him. Here's the thread... http://ssrfanatic.com/forum/showthre...&highlight=dic

You might take a look at the lid release cable/tab on the driver's side of the truck bed by the top of the tailgate.

If it's being pulled by something (if it's hooked on something unusual) it can also release the cargo lid cover.

I have seen that message when I have hit the roof button while in motion. I would check the possibility of the switch making intermittent contact.

Never found the problem....

but I keep my briefcase in the bed area, and it leans agains the emergency release handle, sometimes. Might have been that. Still don't know. But hasn't happen again.
