Several weeks ago coming back from Myrtle Beach, the cruise control wouldn't engage and seemed like I lost power - pushing the accelerater further did nothing. When home shut it off. The next morning started up, and checked the cruise - worked fine. Now today, pulled off the side of the road and shut it off. When I started up to get back on the road, it lost total power at just idle, and pushing the accelater further, nothing! Pulled off again, shut down. Started back up and all things worked fine. Has anyone experienced similar things? Is this connected to the ignition switch?

Change the ignition switch. Many have been faulty. I carry a spare all the time. Fortunately never had to change it yet. Knock on wood
