Stuck in Wiper Blade Hell

Here's the latest:

Thanks to those of you who responded to my emails about my engine giving up. The Chevy dealer here rebuilt my LS2 and it actually runs better than before the problem -- maybe the valves were a problem early on.

Now I need help getting wiper blades/refills. I have an '06. The passenger blade is 18" and the drive blade is 20". I've tried blades from every manufacturer and can't find any that the washer nozzles will fit on. So, I went to the Chevy dealer and ordered just the rubber refills.

Three days later, they don't fit either. Both refills were too long. Now I've ordered the whole blades from Chevy.
We'll see if that works. What are you all doing for wiper blades? Is there an easier way?

Thanks

Walker

The blades should be 19" and 20" (not 18")

That's what I was just thinking .I replaced mine w/ refills from Pep Boy's didn't worry about the sprayer just ran the hose through the arm. sprays fine.

My 06 SSR has the sprayer nozzles on the base of the arm instead of being directly attached to the wiper blade like in previous model years.

If your SSR is truly an 06, I would think it should have windshield wiper blade arms that would take generic wiper blade refills. I was able to purchase Trico 20" (driver's side) and 18" (passenger's side) to replace the OEM blades. The OEM passenger is a 19" blade, but the 18" replacement works just fine.

Will the newer '06 blades fit an '04?

I don't know if it matters, but '06 was a typo... I have an '05.
