suspension - control arms/panhard

Any thoughts on replacing front & rear control arms & panhard bar?

just a passing thought with changing sway bars.

Any reason to do or not do?
Thinking about BMR in front and Spohn in rear...

TIA,

I've got KBee coilovers in front and BMR control arms rear with F & R Addco sway bars. You do feel the difference both in handling and ride.

We installed a set of Spohn rear arms on BlueSSR's truck last year (!) and are installing a set of BMR's on Smokey's truck this year at the Tech session.

Have them shipped directly to my office.

A word of caution, if you have an aftermarket diff cover installed, the aftermarket panhard bar may not have clearance without rubbing.

The adj P-bar with allow you to center the rear in the truck. They are usually 3/4" off on the passenger side. And also if you lower the truck, same thing you can center the rear for alignment purposes. The control arm will help eliminate wheel hop due to the stock stamped units flexing under load. If you get the Spohn units it will also allow for front to back adjustability. When I put the 24's on in the rear I was rubbing my ground effects. I was able to pull the rear back 3/4" safely with no problems. And if you have a power adder you can adjust the pinion angle to -2 degrees for better traction on launches and not worring about axle wrap.
