Tach problems

The tach on my 05 is sticking. It will stick at around 3500 then after I shut it down it will stay where its at. How do I get it to work normally.

Cluster change, It is covered under warranty.

Check with Dealer.

If you get the change done and you should, make SURE they keep the small "buttons" (three) that go on the front of the gauges, they block the little lights behind the gauges, or at night you will have three lights shinning in your eyes. Been there, Done that!

I had to make my Dealer take it back off and replace the "Buttons" that I had TOLD him to save.

Stepper motor in the IP is bad. It's less than $10 for the part to do it yourself but over $1000 at the stealership to R&R the IP and they'll lose the buttons.
