Tire presure sensors

Are all the tire sensors that GM makes vehicle specific? can you mix them up?
can any one give me the exact GM part # for the SSR?

Tire pressure monitors were not available on SSRs.

i would also reccomend filling up with nitrofill...to find a location near you got to nitrofill.com......they also give you vehicle trouble assistance for towing and what not for a year

Go with Orange Electronics TPS system. Good insurance to saviing a tire.

I agree with this completely. Mine save me a tire in the area of the Tetons this summer. Had a bit of trouoble with it at first and nothing but great help from the tech support people to get it working just right.

So after reading all the posts I'm guessing that the SSR did NOT come with sensors but, some of you guys put them in anyway.
