Tire Replacement Dilemma

I have asked this question before and got some great responses but when I went and followed the suggestions I came up empty. Neither Firestone nor Goodyear currently have matched sets for the front or rear tires available in the US. I can get one or the other but I don't want mismatched tires on the car. Your thoughts?
Any one out there have their orginal set that they took off and don't want and they want to sell?

Some have said since the SSR's tires can't be rotated mismatched tires could be a good thing. Different Manufactures have different tread patterns and that could lead to better traction on wet surface's.....but makes some sense..

Really like the Toyo Proxes (OEM rear and 50s on Front) and others have raved about the Firestones (OEM sizes).

I ran into the same problem. Had Goodyears and then could not get a replacement for rear so went with BFG but when I went to replace fronts no tires available in the correct size for front. Finally went with Dunlops but front tire is 1/2" smaller than original. I figured as long as it is not the rear it does not make the spedometer off. Very agressive tires and the ride is sooooo nice compared to the Goodyears. Just my 3.5 cents worth.

FYI,

I found the toyos I wanted online. I called my local discount tire dealer, gave him the info. He matched the price, ordered the toyos and had them on my SSR inside a week from ordering. All I paid above and beyond tire price was mounting and balancing.
Give 'em a shout.
