Question Tonneau retraction...

My roof operation has been working well until this weekend. When the roof is either all the way up or all the way down, the rear of the tonneau cover doesn't completely close and is tilted up in the back near the bed cover. If I get out and give it a push down it sets into place nicely. This isn't a major problem, just annoying to get out and push the rear of the cover down every time I put the roof up or down.

???

That sounds like either something might need a bit of lubrication or one of the stops is not adjusted correctly or something is loose or a combination of those. If you aren't getting any warning messages all of the cylinders should be working properly.

I have a copy of the GM training manual for the roof operation in PDF format. If you would like a copy PM me with your email address.

be sure to check for frayed wires too or wires getting pinched in the hinge

Sounds like the tonneau to hinge bolts are loose. Bad things can happen if this isn't fixed.

A simple thing to check is to see if anything is laying in the bottom. Had a hand towel work it`s way in there and stop mine from closing all the way. Felt like a real dummy when I found it.
