Traveling Fanatic's Emergency Parts

Here's a chance to be a true Fanatic....
Below you'll find a list by state of emergency parts that are available from other Fanatic's to use in an emergency. With everyone doing upgrades I thought it would be cool to offer the OEM parts we are storing in our garage's to other Fanatic's in case of an emergency. Parts are free to use the only thing we ask is when you return home and get your SSR fixed that you ship the parts back at your expense to the person you borrowed them from so they can be offered again to someone in need...
If you find yourself out on vacation or broke down on a road trip these parts are available for use to get you back on the road and home again. We our a close niche family here, if your towed into a dealer and they can't find you a part show them how strong we are as a group. Have the Service Mgr. get on line and show him or her this thread (they will let you) to find your part. Nothing worse than leaving your baby behind at a dealer to wait for a part because you have to get back home from a now spoiled vacation.....

Any Fanatic's wishing to list parts post on this thread and make sure you are also listed on the pin map. Also check to see that your avatar shows your city and state

If you have no parts to list tell other Fanatic's about this thread so they will list their parts. If you get one Fanatic to list an emergency part that saves another Fanatic than you have helped in this thread also.

I will add parts as each of you post. They will be listed here on post #1 by state and Fanatic handle (easy reference) and also though out this thread....

Parts is Parts...

I was just agreeing w/ Tony, it's a great idea! You & I posted on the same minute. Ray told me what a great help you were to him when they arrived in FL.

Even here, I've manage to help a few other owners in need. Front tires, alternator thanks to Jeff-SSR6SPD, Ignition switch, exterior and interior parts, rad support.....

Talked to a guy in a Vette Club he said he know's of us (Fanatic's) and was very impressed with how close we are and how we are very helpful to each other..
Oh! he also said he know's we are a little too.......

C'mon Fanatic's add your parts to this thread to help a brother or sister in need......

Not much for parts at my place but I can always mount up for an SSR rescue run or do some wrenching to get one fixed up and rolling again.

I was driving in Universal city tx today... I saw a red SSR turned around and caught up with him Blue is faster.......anyways met a SSR owner,,get this ,,, he lives about 2 miles from me as the crow flys....nice guy also ..told him about the site... back to the story, he told me he was traveling to Houston from SA..just got in houston city limits and the fan quit ,broke whatever, he stopped at the chevy dealer and they said he needed a new fan,,,well he said they charged him 500.00 for a oem fan and 400.00 to install...I was flabbergassed...he did not have any choise except pay the dealer and get on down the road,,,,,,this dealer in on IH 10 going into Houston,,,,if you Houston folks read this ..please do not use the dealership...I think the name was mac haik chevy ???not sure ...the gentleman did not know about our site here...gave him the info to get here...so next time he would know what to do>>>>>

Bought mine at Mac Haik on I-10 in Houston. Except for a hiccup with the guage changeout - never had too much problem with them. In fact, they were the first to solve the misaligning window problem in '04.
