Truck shuts off

Help, need some advice... my wife's truck is taking 3-4 times of turning the motor over to start and stay running. Simply starts, then shuts off. Gas cap is tight, battery is good, not sure what's up then it starts and runs normal however tonight the ABS light came on also and the motor literally slowed itself down and then it went off and operated normally....she parked it, 5 minutes later decided to move it and again, took 3 times for the motor to stay running.

Any ideas? Ground fault?

I had the same issue last Spring with my SSR. I took it to the dealer and they
found that the ignition switch was faulty. Hope this helps...

Darren....If your going to Preston Hood make sure you ask for Michelle Norris as your service advisor. Tell her you want the same special service she gives to me. She's a sweetheart.

P/P

Peace

My 2003 shut off on me three different times and each of the times was after a great high speed workout and then an abrupt off ramp stop faster than normal. That was the first year of my performance testing. I have noticed the ignition switch return spring is weak.

Black is better than Silver, I think.
