U-haul Towing

What is the largest U-Haul trailer you have tow with your SSR.

The web site say's you can use a 4x8,5x8 or 6x12.

With a 2500lb hitch

Towing

I just finished towing a 5x8 UHaul trailer 800 miles from Florida to the North Carolina mountains at 60 mph.

With a new main fan, the truck ran right at 210 degrees, except when accelerating up grades or when sitting turned off in a gas station. Then it registered 225 degrees.

As you will read elsewhere and in the owner's manual, always tow in 3rd not drive.

Doesn't the trailer's total weight (loaded) as well as the weight on the tongue have something to do with it; in other words, isn't there more to it than just the size of the trailer?
