Varible Valve timing

Noticed the 08 Cadillac CTS has that. Could it be adapted to the SSr? also noticed CVT varible in the ad but did'nt elaborate.

Modifying an existing engine.... I agree with Wingrider - it's not worth the expense. In addition to finding a way to install the mechanics that adjust the cam timing, you would need new sensors and a computer that can read them and then send control signals to the cam mechanism to adjust the timing. Not a simple job. Were GM or some other company were to come out kits like they did for the LS1/4L60E gear so you can retrofit them into pre-EFI cars, then it would be more practical.

The new LS3 (vette) and L92 (truck/SUV) engines have the VVT technology too.

Hollow Valve Stems on a Corvette ? What happened to Titanium for weight loss. The cost of the 6.2 is way up there anyway. Just my opinion but Titanium is not that expensive anymore. One pit or Breach in the stem will attract enough heat to bend a hollow valve stem. I think Gm is looking for a lot of valve dropping in to the Cylinder.
