Water In Passenger Footwell

Just spent some time going through the posts regarding water leakage from rain or car washes. Rained like heck the last day or so and I found a small puddle on my passenger side rubber floor mat. Noticed a trail of water going up the kick plate on the right side of the passenger footwell. Was dressed for work so I could not crawl under the dash to see where the trail lead. Any suggestions as the origination of the leak. As always, thanks!
Joe

I believe cruzned had the same leak. I think it was a blocked drain between the windshield and hood area.
Here is one of his threads:
The leak from Hell has finally met its match!
he may have comments in more threads.

Thanks for the help. I was hoping it might be something simple like a blocked drain. Won't have a chance to check it out until the weekend. In the meantime I will keep my fingers crossed. Joe

there was a thread The leak from Hell has finally met its match!
in June 2006. One suggestion was to check how the "HVAC unit fits to the plenum and the front of dash" (response from Freezer). There are a few other suggestions you might want to look into.
