Wax on rubber relief

Anyone else have wax spots on their rubber gaskets etc? Did a search on here for an answer and didn't find this one, so here goes...

Go get a $.99 jar of smooth peanut butter, apply a fingertip of it on the wax spot, rub until gone, wipe (or lick...ew), done!

My mother always said don't play with your food.
