Wheel Center Caps

I haven't seen this information posted before and since I need somewhere to write it down where I won't lose it, here's some info on the wheel center caps.

As everyone knows, the rear caps and front caps are different and not interchangeable. They are very difficult to tell apart and it would be easy for one of the "techs" in the tire department to remove all the caps and have no idea how to put them back on. So, here are the two part numbers stamped on the caps to help keep them straight.

Front - 111263, 111501

Rear - 111264, 111502

Great tip! I marked mine with a sharpie on inside so when I autocross them (they have to be removed) I can tell where they go, but the parts numbers stamped is a great tip! Thanks, Ed

Wheel Caps

I had my wheels off last month and the caps were labeled on the inside with raised letters - FRT (front), RR (rear) - part of the tooling. Opposite those markings are additional air-valve markings that locate the cap relative to the air-valve.

I received my 4 chrome caps today. They fit perfect. The P/N is Front 12451801 Rear 12451802. Anyone one know about these #'s? The ones on my '06 are difference.
