Ok I'm thinking of replacing my stock wheels with the dayton wire wheels.I have a choice 18 in front and stock 20 for the rear.or 20 front 22 rear.want to keep the rolling circumference close to original but don't want low profile tire any suggestions.the SSR is already lowered

Not possible to install larger diameter rims AND maintain rolling diameter without going to a lower profile tire. If the wheel has 1" more radius, the tire needs to have 1" less sidewall to maintain rolling diameter.

Rebel might be a good person to contact as he has Dayton wire wheels.

Not related completely but I purchase a set of Dayton stainless spokes with chrome rims several years ago and within a year the chrome rims had multiple spots of corrosion breaking through. I ended up sandblasting the chrome off. Maybe that is not an issue anymore.

...

Two years later mine are still good as new. I have stainless spokes (520) and the rim is 4 layer chrome.
Mine are called radial spoke, knock offs. $800each front $900 each rear. I love the look. The first coment made about the truck from anyone new, is about the rims. Cleaning .... you cool them with water, spray with dayton or mequires cleaner, rinse with water about two min. later, and blow dry with leaf blower. After cleaning I spraywash a wax on them at the car wash, and then blow dry again.
I cleaned mine with a sponge paint brush between spokes, once last year.

I went 18" and 20" because I like the rake look. Rear tire is 30" tall and have no rubs. front end was lowered by springs.

If you don't want a low profile tire then you need to go with the 18 and 20's. As the 20 and 22's will have to have a shorter side wall ie lower profile to maintain the orginal circumference. And something no one else has said the shorter the side wall the harsher the ride will be.
