My windshield washer stopped working. I did a search for this problem with no luck. I checked the two most important things. It does have fluid and it is above freezing. I can't hear anything pumping but I don't recall weather it made a noise when it was working. Any suggestions?

My 2004 has a similar problem. If I keep pumping the switch long enough it will eventually work. You might have a damaged rubber hose somewhere between the pump and the wiper outlet.
I know that the push switch on the stalk sometimes fail. My regular truck's switch is touchy and doesn't always activate the pump (wipers go on though).
Condition
Some customers may comment that the windshield washer is inoperative even though solvent remains in the reservoir.
Cause
The cause of this condition may be due to the screened portion of the washer pump grommet becoming restricted. This restriction allows air to be trapped in the pump and then the pump loses its prime.
Correction
Remove the washer pump and grommet from the reservoir, cut the tip (lower screen portion) off of the grommet and reinstall the grommet and washer pump. Refill the reservoir and check windshield washer operation.

My SSR: 2006 Aqua Blur - SSRENITY #22578 Born 10/20/2005
Didn't you just have major underhood work done on your SSR? Hate to ask the obvious, but did it stop working after all this underhood work was done? If so, I would start looking around under the hood...starting at the pump electrical connection.

I wish I noticed this post before I had it looked at. It is fixed now and it was a disconnected wire.
