Windshield Wiper Nozzle, Alternative Fix.

glanced at the windshield wipers.

Guess what? The washer nozzle is square about the size of a postage stamp. It snaps onto the wiper arm not the blade. It fits perfect just below the wiper blade, sprays great. Same size tubing as well. About a 2 minute install. Not quite full coverage (ie, not all the way to bottom) But much better than the originals I had to zip tie to the blades....LOL

10.50 a pair.....

At Rock Auto Parts.

Post Dealer installs these for me at oil change time

#15220273 Blade kit - $7.15
#15220314 Blade kit - $7.15

Dealer service guy said ACDelco #8-5800 Universal refills can be cut-to-fit the SSR wiper.
I clean the blades a lot and use an old emery board lightly on the leading edge occasionally. RainX or waxing the windshield helps tremendously too!

Did the 2006 model have different wiper arms?, I dont know what the problem is. Sounds like someone is replacing the whole plumbing with arm just to get new blades?

The 2003, 04, 05 had the windshield washers mounted on the wipers (they look like a small football) they worked well but were very delicate and broke off easily, they are no longer available The 2006 models had the washers mounted on the wiper arms in a more conventional configuration. This is a good find as if you change over to the 2006 wiper arms it can be pretty expensive. Good find TXISKING
