Question Wood Cargo Strip Question.

My 2003 SSR came with the black plastic type cargo bed liner. Will the GM cargo wood strip kit fit okay with this type bedliner? Will the velcro backed strips fit down into the recessed (indented) strips that are made into this bedliner? Thanx.

Should work. Someone did this and posted it. Buy some velco and try it. Have fun with your SSR. I just bought velco that says 'good for vinyl surfaces" from Home Depot. Clean the surface with a little alcohol first.

Thumbs up

Yes, buy some industrial grade velcro and it fits perfect; and adds a degree of protection becasue the slat is depressed. In addition gives you a spare slat as there are only 6 "bottom" grooves.............
