I saw a thread where someone was looking for a center console key duplicate by number. If these keys are used in more that one vehicle, I would be glad to add my key number to a list so anyone who needs that specific number couldPM me and I could then send that person a key.
What do you think?

I'm the fellow looking for the center console key. There seems to be two opinions to this situation. One that the number on the console lock will be the number on the matching key (no one has verified that yet) allowing the locksmith to make a key with that number.
However I just got off the phone with a locksmith who said the number wouldn't help. I'm going to go see him this afternoon and I will let you know what he says.
The three digit code on the lock cylinder matches the three digit code on the original key. I called the place that makes the keys, A-1 Securities. They don't sell to the end user, so you must go through your local dealer. They only ship COD or credit card (no AMEX). I'll be glad to help anyone that needs keys. Just PM me if your dealer needs the phone number. I didn't get a price yet, but the price from the previous place was around $25 per pair. Wayne

I had 2 console keys made yesterday for my '05. Nice young lady looked at the lock, 5 minutes later, $18.00 to Lock Jock, and I have my keys. My only problem is I am still trying to reconcile myself to a Lady Lock Jock.
