This is good to know, a kid hit my SSR in the right rear with a Bicycle. The Bike was painted with non-skid paint. This was like sanding my paint with 20 grit. What can you do, he was just brain dead.

When getting a part painted, the paint shop ended up with Bahama Blue instead of Aqua Blur (26 U) I advise Aqua Blur owners to get a confirmation as to the green/blue Aqua Blur. GM dealer body shop was incorrect. but stepped up to the plate and took acre of it. Real nice people to deal with, they didnt want me to take it until perfect. How about that.

Upper & Lower codes

The "U" designates "Upper" color. When looking at two tones, the lower color has an "L" designation. for example....... A Pacific Blue over Ricochet silver will have paint code 90U67L. A Silver over black will have paint code 67U41L........

You can validate with the Production History sheets....

regards

What would the codes be for the satin rims? I have one that needs repaint.

For the single color you say the Smokin Asphalt is 41U. When you give the example of the two tone silver over blk, you say the black is 47L.

Be careful about paint codes - different manufacturers have the same paint codes, but the colors vary manufacturer to manufacturer.

The result can vary greatly.....
