Did I miss something? Are we supposed to wear our colour at some point in the weekend?
Sue did not email me this
Dan brought this up - Sandy, you and I always dress to match our trucks - the rest of the crowd will be difficult to get in step, but it was sure fun at Laughlin!! I know UNDERTKR will be dressed in his "Business Attire" with his truck to match !!

Hi, Dan
There's a bunch of misinformation out there.
You're coming to a desert area with beautiful lakes. Temperatures should be in the 80's daytime (90's are possible), down to mid to high 60's at night.
Rain is generally very limited from mid June through August, and we rarely see more than the odd evening shower during the car show. Forecast right now is for a pretty nice weekend - as long as the Alberta group don't bring their crappy weather with them.
It ain't gonna snow!!!!!! At least not in the valley area. Depending on weather patterns, rain in the Coquihalla pass can turn to snow at any time of year, but that's the only place you would have any chance of seeing any snow showers.
I don't think your travels would take you that way. Your best route is likely coming from I90 and north on 97 through Wenatchee. That's the route the Seattle contingent is taking.
The hotel has a pool, exercise room, and a casino.
So - dress for warm, comfortable days, slightly cooler evenings and you should be pretty good.
Drive safe!!! We'll leave room for you at Zia's in case your timing works out.
My cel phone if you need to make contact is 250-490-7676

Got a late request tonight. The A & W is on the corner where we are turning into Summerland to go to Zia's Thursday night.
Thursday from 6 - 8 is "Cruise the Dub" night.
They would be thrilled if as many SSRs as possible took a detour into the A & W lot on their way to Zia's. You would turn right into their driveway, go straight through to the back, and loop around back onto the street for the short drive to Zia's.
See everyone there Thursday night.
Drive safe.

Refresher on finding Zia's - this is the note in the first post.
You can print this by clicking on the post number at the top right to get a single post displayed.
The A & W info is added in red.
Finding Zia's: Coming from Penticton, stay on the highway through the first traffic light at the top of the hill (McDonalds will be on your left), get in left lane, turn left at the second traffic light (Yup - we're a big city now - 2 lights.) The road will bend to the left. The A & W is on your right as you take the bend. The owner has requested that we take a loop through the Dub on our way to Zia's. Drive straight ahead, then a right turn into the laneway, and a couple rights to get back onto Rosedale. Travel one block or so on Rosedale, look for the white Catholic Church on your right. We have permission to use their parking lot - no door dings, and I have someone watching our SSRs. Zia's is the large stone building across the street from the church.

Lloyd and I are on our way to Lake Penticton. We spent a few days with the granddaughters in Modesto, CA (birthday celebration/father's day) and we left early this morning for BC. We are spending the night in Bend, Oregon and off to Yakima, Wash. tomorrow where we are "hooking up" with some CA/AZ fanatics. The weather is perfect and the snow capped mts. and pine trees are beautiful!
