Gee I go away for a few days (I'm still gone, until tomorrow night) and all happiness breaks loose

Just got back from Woodward. What an incredible event. 40 SSRs parked on Woodward, 30000 cars cruising or parked and 1.2 million people walking Woodward or watching cars drive by.

The tour of the Heritage center was awesome. Check the Woodward photo thread to see some of the great vehicles at Woodward.

Debbie and Ray did a great job of organizing the Woodward weekend

I think we'll have several more of our Fanatic friends coming from California, Arizona and Nevada.

I'll update the list tomorrow.

I just called and made our reservations for the Lakeside Resort, four nights June 19 to 23. Thought I'd book the sunday night just incase.

through the hills, farms and valleys made me think I was driving my Austin Healey and I had to continually tell myself that my SSR DID NOT HAVE A CLUTCH.....PLUS our return caravan across the mountains to Langley on Hiway 3 (Because the other road had 7" of new snow) was the most awesome time for me - My jaws hurt from smiling soooooooooo BIG !!

We're adding Connie and Frank from Arizona to our list, Doug and jean are coming back, and lots more in the works. Also added Zane - he's already got his room booked, so I'm assuming he's coming..

Check the second post - I've added "booked" to those whose names were on the master list at the hotel this morning. Let me know if you are staying elsewhere, or re-check with the hotel if you've booked but aren't on the list.

They are from Washington and joined 4 of us for the very wet Anacortes Waterfront Festival early this year.......... I am so tickled they are signed in for Penticton !! for any of you visiting the Tulalip Casino in Marysville (my closest friend is the designer), Wes and Cathy live nearby !

Awesome!!!! Have you confirmed for Zias as well.

Only 10 months to go and 26 SSRs already. The organizers are very pleased with our level of enthusiasm. More fun stuff planned for next year. Great wineries, and it is very inexpensive to bring Canadian wine through US Customs.

We are looking forward to Penticton, and other activities. We just love to cruise in our SSR (slingshot yellow fpr). We have booked a room also. I will keep in touch with you all.

The Fire Engine is booked for next year. Expect to see some new fire accessories for next year (Maybe lights that work for more than a few blocks in the parade.)
