so i see mike in az has signed up,,,per my deal with sue (tickledpink), i have also signed up..if mike can come from arizona i guess i can get there from vancouver island..even if i have to swim,,,have booked hotel at the lakeside and set cheques to ray and the car show people,,,oh yeah,,it's off to the zia's thread now...

Penticton will be alive with the addition of our SSR families from the south ....... I can hardly wait to have us all be together !!! Now I'm off to find lots more of those darling PINK thongs for the Speed-O contest !! Bondo Princess already has a Leopard Print thong for Lloyd !!! Maybe Doug Allen will like that one better than the PINK, but I'm not too sure........... we just need him to join us too !!

I am soooooo proud of Doug Young for being true to his word to me and signing up to join us in Penticton once more - he is a HOOT ....... I promise to wear the TickledPink bib and matching shirt he gave to me in Chelan - in HIS honor!!!

I can hardly wait !!

Debbie and I are interested in going home via the western side of the Olympic Peninsula. Are you in Sidney, about 45 minutes north of Victoria??? If so, what's the travel time from Penticton to Victoria???? I think that may be our first night on the road home. Opinion? Can we follow you?

Good to hear you have joined up. You are ahead of me. I have my room booked but need to get my cheques to Ray and the car show.

Let me know your travel plans. Maybe we can start the caravan from the Island; maybe hook up with a wonder in Langley and.....

If Doug won't let you follow him, you can follow me.

If you decide to visit Vancouver Island, you should give yourself a few days to tour. A trip to the West Coast is a given. Victoria is very close to the Olympic Penninsula, just a short ferry trip gets you to Port Angeles.

It is about a 4 to 4 1/2 hour drive from Penticton to the ferry terminal, and the ferry is another hour or two. The Black Ball Ferry to Port Angeles is about 45 minutes, but it can be a long wait to get on during the summer.

I was telling Bob at ASI today that I have spoke to you several times and had numerous business ssr related transactions,but never have met ya and look forward to the day when we get to meet face to face! That news just made my day! It doesn't take much....... kidding of course!
