The Beach Cruise was featured on My Classic Car in 2009. There are
stills and a short preview of Episode 13, Season 13 on the My Classic Car website
Surprising number of shots of SSRs. The large group with Dennis is none other than SSRFanatics.
Episode 24 of My Classic Car in late August featured Summerland and a Winery Cruise.
Passports are now required for all movements between Canada and the US.
The Okanagan Valley made MSN's top 10 list of places to visit in 2008. One of only two North American destinations to make the list.

Our SSRs will be on the grass at Rotary Park Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Security will be on site, eliminating the logistics of parking at the hotel. Parking at the Lakeside will be limited this year with the auction happening on the open parking lot of the Lakeside.
Registrations for the 2011 Beach Cruise was 770 cars. We can accomodate up to 800 cars.
The setting is spectacular. The car show is staged from the Lakeside Resort Hotel (The long pier at the center of the photo) all the way to the SS Sicamous, at the far right, just before the river channel.
We will be using the park area to the right of the hotel on the photo below. We'll be just off the beach, on grass, directly across from the outdoor entertainment area and concessions.

Hotels
The Lakeside Resort Hotel is a luxury hotel on the Beach. It has a pub, the Bufflehead Pasta and Tapas Bar, a patio eating area, and the Hooded Merganser Restaurant built over the water. It also has a Casino.
If you check the photo of the hotel on the link below, the park area is just over top of the Hooded Merganser restaurant on the right, past the giant tree.
