Now we gotta get the other "Paradise Fanatics" together and set up our local chapter, island style!

just make sure as you are getting around the island, you go the other way sometimes or your tires will get worn on one side.

I have been on the island (Oahu) for 12 years now. We bought our SSR about a year ago, but have not been cruising that much. Where does everyone meet up at and going cruising?

Where are you located in the islands? I was stationed at ComSta Hono for a couple years.

For all you guys, I will be in Honolulu for a week in Nov. Maye we can get together one evening(11-18 or 11-19 would be best). If we start planning now it might happen.

Welcome to the SSR Fanatics! Oahu SSR Fanatics haven't quite got ourselves organized yet, so no cruises, but I think we're getting close. There are about a dozen SSR's here on Oahu. Somehow I haven't seen yours on the island yet. What side you stay? I'm over on Windward side, near the mall.

We should all get together for a cruise or tailgate sometime. Maybe BlueStreak's visit will be the catalyst for some action.

Bluestreak, keep us posted on your visit and hopefully we can have a get together to lauch an Oahu Chapter of SSR Fanatics?

I live in Pearl City at the pennisula. I keep the R in the garage and take it out for about once or twice a month on the weekend. Usually, homework (HPU)keeps me occupied.

My buddy who owns a Vette and I plan on going to the car show around 1100 tomorrow (Sat) then cruise up roundtop road. Around 4:30 pm, we plan on meeting a bunch of his friends at the Costco (Hawaii Kai) near the blowhole.

Hope to see you there. He did mention that the last time the group got together, there was some Rs there.

Aloha Navy Runner!

Sorry I missed out on the car show and cruise this weekend. I was busy wrenching on the wifey's car all weekend. Dealer's mechanic pulled apart the engine to do a repair and couldn't put it back together. Duh! I got it going again good, wasted a beautiful Saturday in paradise.

Hopefully we can pull some of the Oahu Fanatics out of the surf and sand long enough to get a cruise together....keep in touch!
