Well... UPS dropped the ball - what a surprise.

Got what I hope is the last part needed today. That leaves tomorrow to assemble things clean up and check everything else before Sat. It's going to be tight but I think I'll just make it.

Monnie and I had a great time, What a great group of fanatics. Thank you all for allowing our friends to park with us. Gary & Colette Hughes (1940 Chevy Conv) and Jim & LaDonna Hughes (71 Chevy Pickup). J & L Hughes won best post 60 truck trophy. Had just a great day and saw lots of old friends. Thanks to all.

Well Well, How often do you see a gal dressed In pink and flying everywhere with pink wings strapped to her back. Yes, It Is true and It Is lady bird SUE. You really have to be a northwest fanatic to appreciate all the goings on that we have at a car show. Everyone had a great time and going home after the car show I was In a long string of cars waiting to cross highway 99 and Wayne and Sandy from Canada were a few cars behind me. There was a couple of low rider cars coming out of a strip mall just to the right of me. Little did
I know that at that same time there was a shooting going on at their car show about two hundred feet from me and two guys got into a argument about a paint job done on one of the cars. A guy started shooting and eight people were shot. I heard on the news that no one was seriously hurt. Just feel lucky that Is was not worse. Now as I look back on the days event, Thank god that there was not a guy with a gun bird hunting at our car show, Especially with Sue running around with those pink wings strapped to her back, Some hunter could of taken her for a Pink Flamingo?????Yikes

There was a strange sight..............

in the form of a man bundled up from head to toe........

Could it be he was shy????
Was he afraid his white legs would create a glare?
Perhaps he had no summer clothing..............

Oh my, it is our SSR GURU from So. California enjoying a typical summer's day in the Pacific Northwest !!! Remember the commercial "Which twin has the Toni?" Our riddle is: which twin is a Northwest native son?

Terry, Those white legs are tan, I call It white lightening suntan lotion. Art was the smart one covered up, As I got a little burned and It Is not fun to get that way. I think with the wind blowing all day and being on the water, Did me In. Now take Flamingo Sue, She was flying around all day and the sun did not have a chance to catch up with her. What a pair of pink wings will do for a person???????
