Hello Fanatics: First off a thank you to Milo & Monnie for heading up the Gig Harbor Car Show"The Narrows Car Show" as they call it! What a great turnout of really nice and new cars & trucks that I haven't seen before, what a pleasant surprise! I pulled in at 7:00AM and Milo was there with several other officials from their local car club,"The Cruisers",bunch of silver haired car guys that love their street rods and some pretty fine looking ones at that! Many of the exhibortors were from Tacoma,Wa. Tacoma has always been a really car crazy town known for it's cool cars!! We have to include all the cool guys from the Olympic Peninsula. After all that us right!
We,Milo,Monnie, myself and a few of the Crusier club members made are way over and across the street to the Sunset Grill for a hardy breakfest. After eating we all headed back over to the car show to our surprise the place had filled up with cars of all makes and model customs, very cool! Must have been at least 300 cars there! I enjoyed talking with lots of car owners and their rides, especially the Nomads, holy cow, they had seven or eight Nomads there, that's the most Iv'e seen at a single car show ever! Nice too!Sure enjoyed talking to Rick Olson and his wife about their 1937(beautiful) Black roadster street rod,got lots of good info about these types of cool rods!
I was up at four oclock AM so I was starting to feel a bit tired,I headed for home at 12:30PM with a nice smile on my face, really enjoyed the show!
Thanks Milo for a job well done!!
