Beautiful day in the Pacific NW to bring the "R" out!!!
SSR friends,
Couldn't wait until March 21st. so today, being such a beautiful day in the Pacific NW, I took the "R" out for a spin. My 30 mile commute to work...down the 16 .... blew out all of her winter cobwebs. She didn't miss a beat, ran like a top and..... no tickets to boot !!!! Washing and polishing this weekend will have her bright and shiny and ready to go for our first 2010 excursion, to our beautiful Washington seaport of Port Townsand.Looking forward to seeing you all at our Port Orchard rendexvous on Sunday the 21st.
Ray & Linda
Hello Fanatics: Here's an update for Lunch options>>>I had two conversations
today, one with the manager of Sea-J's Cafe in Port Townsend, and she said they have been choosen twenty years in a row the best Fish & Chips in P/Townsend...her husband does the voting Just kidding>>>also spoke to Dick, at Port Townsend tourist center and he said he and his wife eat
at Sea-J's at least once a month, well that sold me boy,let me tell ya hey!
Bottomline,we have a second choice for Fish lovers. We can discuss details at
Port Orchard rendezvous point,Kitsap Cty Bank parking lot,9:30AM Sunday, morning,21st of March,2010.After talking to these wonderful folks from Port Townsend,I am convinced Sea-J's is the best choice for fish & chips.

I too got the SSR out of the garage yesterday; took her to a dyno day with my old car club at Horsepower Ranch in Maple Valley. Great facility, and she put down 360whp, not a bad number.

Hello to all PACNW Fanatics, time to awaken from hybernation and start thinking about our first Spring Opening Event for 2010! We're hoping to be able
to gather our "R's" mid to late March for a day triper! We had lots of fun last year when we made our way to the outskirts of Port Angeles and headed up to Hurricane Ridge. Also the loop around Hood Canal was enjoyable too!
This year I think a run to the quaint town of Port Towsend,Jefferson county, fun place to go and take in the local art and lunch scene there on the waters
of puget sound. What say you fanatics?!
Hal this sounds like a wonderful way to welcome spring! Provided Mother Nature doesn't do anything rash like monsoon that day, we'd love to join you on the adventure.

We would need to take off about 5:30 AM or so to make it to Port Orchards by 9:30. So yes we can meet up at BiMart again on 99W in Tigard. Hope to hear from ABLUR and we can rendezvous with them as well. We also have another member in Tigard. Please let me know if you 2 would like to join Tim and me that Sunday AM.
