If you happen to be at the Evergreen Fair & Speedway on Saturday, Sept 5th, TickledPink has been invited and will be the "Assistant" PACE Car in her Richochet Silver SSR !!! The Official PACE Car is an Ultra Violet SSR from Speedway Chevrolet in Monroe !!:

The Marv Monty, Evergreen Speedway Manager, has invited our NW SSR FANTASTICS to be in a Parade - and some fun stuff before the usual race program - sometime in either June or July 2010 !!! Together we will pick two dates when he puts the 2010 schedule together in November !!! So, keep your "Ear to the Ground" !!

Due to the horrendous storms which hit the Northwest

, we decided to postpone the invitation rather than add my inclusion to the Race Director's fiasco of running races on a very wet track. It was mutually decided to wait until next year for the Assistant job and for our SSR Parade as well.

I also learned from Roy & Glenn that one's insurance is null and void when one's car enters the track. That knowledge helped in the decision for both of our concerns!!!

Disappointing, but i look forward to doing it another day !!
