New N.W. SSR Owners

Owners Lynn and husband Don Boltz of Orting added the classic 05 SSR to there classic car stable, a award winning 32 Chev coupe, rated as the best restoration in his car class in the world and their trophy winning 57 Chev Bel Air.

Lynn seen our R and wanted one. Don found a Slingshot Yellow with bluegraphics and only 4500 miles in Florida and is now in an enclosed transporter on the way to Orting

Jeri and I are looking forward to cousin Don and Lynn in her really neat SSR on our next R event.

When your retired and have time to travel what is neater, fast, reliable and has room for lots of luggage then an SSR, plus cruising events with a great bunch of R owners. Don either had to put air in his 57 and hope Lynn would be cool or find a R for Lynn and have her really feel cool.

Lynn and I are really looking forward to getting our 2005 SSR. It Is on the truck from Miami Florida and Is now In Illinois being hauled by Passport Transport. Just a short 3400 mile drive to the Seattle area. They are picking up and dropping off cars on the way, So the SSR should have a ton of trailer miles getting to us. We are looking forward to be getting It and Im very glad that Cousin Terry also has a 05 and we have now just joined this site. Reading different posts, All I can say Is that all you people on here are great, And you have to be to be a SSR Fanatic. Thanks for reading. The SSR really Is hers???????????? Don and Lynn

Welcome to the R Family

Don & Lynn,

Welcome to the family of great folks and lots of fun. Give me a PM or stop by our office in Sumner (the Spartan Agency on Main) so we can tell stories about Yoder. He and I grew up in the same neighborhood and he was in our wedding. Again welcome to the club. Glenn & Carol

Hi Jack and Sandi, Thanks for the nice welcoming from you two. We are waiting for our SSR to show up from Miami. As of tonight It sits In a trailer In missouri. Hope to get It In the next two weeks. I already have plans to redue a few things, Like putting on 5 Inch exhaust tips and lowering and moving In the running boards closer to the body and doing a few things under the hood. Cousin Terry has alot of plans for Lynns SSR? I just get to go along for the ride. That sounds good, But we will see, Now If I could just hide her set of keys. Thanks for reading and we hope to see all you guys soon. Don, Second In command???????

a question about that blue '05 at Sunset - is it blue or is it blur (like Terry's)? The blue didn't come out until '06. Is it for sale? Just wanted to confirm before I pass the info on to buyers.

Hi Sandy. Yoders 05 Is Blue to me, Looks just like terrys 05. It Is not forsale. It sits In his 6000 square foor garage where he lives and the showroom has about 40 beautiful cars and trucks. If you guys, Or a group get up here In the Seattle, Tacoma area down the road sometime, Get In touch with me and We could go to Jerrys garage for a tour. It Is a fantastic showroom Of chevrolets and Chevrolet neon signs that are on all the walls and alot are very rare. My SSR Is still In Missouri and the trucking company says It should be heading this way today. I should of said Lynns SSR Is on the way. Thanks For reading, The copilot?????????

thanks Don, we will definitely do Jerry's tour and it's called Aqua Blur. If Jerry is interested in more memorabilia he should get over to Ohio right now. Mecum is auctioning off all Bob McDormans stuff, loads of signs as well as collector SSR's!!!

New SSR Owners

Cruising down Main Street in Sumner yesterday was a sharp looking SSR. Yes it was our new SSR owners Don and Lynn from Orting. I tried running down the street to stop them but they were obviously having fun showing it off so I just stopped and enjoyed the R.

Congrat's to Lynn on her new ride. Hopefully she will let Don drive now and then. Hope to get together soon so they can show off their truck.
