Carol and I met Don & Lynn yesterday and saw their new R. They are very excited and ready to run. Don, Terry and Roy were heading up to Kent today to talk to Terry's painter. Don wants to start dressing up the engine area.
Redracr & Gonbyby will be in Seattle next Saturday but Sunday or the following weekend would be good. Lets all do the "Sunshine" dance. A run to the Tides would be a good one.
It has been six months since Lynn and I bought our 2005SSR. We have met so many nice people who are Fanatics and we are looking forward to alot of touring and get togethers as time goes along. Lynn Is going to have a complete knee replacement the first of june. That may slow us down for a while. I have been doing alot of things to the R. I have bought almost everything Arizona Mike sells and have put everything on the R. The Fanatic site and all the Wonderful people I have met and talked to, It does not get any better then this. Thanks, Don, The Co-Pilot
Brian and Ann just bought a 2004 Black SSR while visiting Fountain Hills AZ. At the time of purchase the truck only had 5600 miles. The truck is being shipped back to our home in Southern Oregon and we look forward to joining some of the NW events.

I am a big fan of Griots and I am convinced that my contributions over the past several years has helped them expand their business, lol. Seriously, we are talking about driving the old 2004 that way for the event and look forward to meeting all the Fanatic's close to home. Thanks for the warm welcome. Brian

I figure this one to be #13069.
That was a very good buy for such low miles considering it has chrome wheels, boards and gauges.

Anyone who has not got signed up for the Griots Garage tour site, Should do so. Go to the Griots tour and have Sandy put your name to the list, So we can plan on how many people will be on the tour. I want to let the Reataurant know so they can plan on how many to expect. Thanks
Well Well, Now that I have had my SSR since last October, I have run out of goodies to add to It. I have almost everything that Arizona Mike, Simple Engineering sells and things from other places. Lynn and I have started to put miles on the R touring around are area. I know one thing, That everyone who owns a R has a really neat truck that Is the best of the best and the people who own them are the bestest of the best. Happy touring to everyone. I think I need a second SSR so we each have one to drive.
Theres nothing better then owning Chevys. The 57 which Is restored 100 percent to original and the 32 deluxe sport coupe which also Is restored 100 percent to original, really gives me a variety of different years of Chevys. My SSR Is not left original stock and I have added almost everything to I can find, So far. If I had known how much fun It Is to have a SSR, I would of bought one new when they came out In 03. Up here In the Seattle area there Is a bunch of SSR Fanatics and In Canada and Oregon also who get together for alot of different events and touring. Nothing but FUn.
