Thumbs up Northwest SSRs - On Land and Sea

One never knows when the impact of our incredible Northwest SSR Family will come into play - I am still totally shocked..........

RedRacr and GO N BYBY invited me to join them for a 22 day cruise through the Panama Canal aboard Holland America Cruise Ship Westerdam, arriving in Seattle on Saturday May 7th. Unfortunately a friend could not go with me, so I sadly declined their wonderful invitation.

With three other friends, I just happened to ride AMTRAK to Vancouver BC on Friday, May 6, boarding a Holland America Cruise Ship for their positioning cruise to Seattle......... I had thought about the possibility of running into Glenn's group when their cruise ship docked in Seattle on May 7th - but decided it was just wishful thinking............. after all, they had been gone for over a month, finishing their vacation with a 22 day Cruise.

Then - the most incredible and amazing thing happened during dinner - I looked up and standing in front of me were Glenn, Carol, Jack and Sandi !!!! Imagine, with 1800 people on board, the chance of ever running into one another.......To make things even MORE Surprising is that their Veranda Cabins were next door to ours !!

Welcome our wonderful SSRs back home - ready to join us for all the fun SSR things ready to happen !!!

More info from Redracr

Almost too amazing, as Glenn told me today via phone, that Jack normally didn't sit where he and Sandi were seated May 6th, when he spotted me in the dining room....... This is quite unbelievable and those of you that have been on large Cruise ships know what I mean !! Chances are - my opinion - that our meeting was absolute DESTINY !!! (In other words, a NORMAL SSR Family gathering !!).

Aren't we all lucky to be part of this great, incredible family!!!
