Good news is we've got a completed deal on selling the house

Bad news is I need to go back earlier than planned to take care of a few extra things so...... I'll be unable to attend the events on this coming weekend.

On the upside, I'll be here permanent like when I return - finally..

I will have to say DARN that you are not going to be with us for the Evergreen Speedway Event , and DARN that you are not going to your Farewell Party is So Ca wearing your "OFFICIAL Northwest SSR BIB" and carrying your Official NW Wild Salmon and Tillamook Cheese, but we all wish you a good sale on your home and a safe trip back to us !!!

Signatures are not the issue. Just had items added to the to do list before the movers get there.

Good morning to all Evergreen Speedway participants !!

I was notified yesterday that the Speedway will not refund money for tickets, so if you cannot make it for any reason, please let me know by 9:00 AM Friday as I will be gone RailRoading and train riding until too late to change the totals - and believe me, you don't want to owe me money

The Fee for the Race is 1/2 adult ticket price - $7.50 per person / $15.00 per couple. So far everyone is signed in, with the exception of Art who had to go south earlier than planned, and those who are not staying for the races!!

Northwest SSRs and guests are going to be Spectacular !!!

Just wanted to let you know we finally got home
September 4th. We traveled 6150 miles. On our last night in St. Louis, we discussed the highlights of the trip and both of us put the night at the speedway with all of you as one of our top highlights. It was right up there with the 4 national parks. We traveled through 14 states and explored most of them. Jim was really tired of rocks by the time the trip was over.
Again we really enjoyed meeting so many other SSR fanatics like ourselves. The pictures turned out great. I can't wait to share them with the group back here.
As I said before if any of you are ever in the Ohio area let us know. I hope some of you come to Woodward next year. We plan on going to it.

It was our pleasure to have you two join us........ You added a lot to the excitement of our SSRs ready to show off to the crowds !! I had such a BIG smile when the announcer read to all within hearing distance of his great voice, that the Redline Red SSR , featuring Jim & Connie, was from COLUMBUS OHIO!!!!

Wow both Cindy and I have been up to our elbows in work with this medical courier service and I have been remiss at keeping up on this forum for NW events. It looks like everyone enjoyed themselves and the couple coming clear from Ohio must have been awesome. We will try and keep up better on our activities so we can see you all again soon for the next event.

Does everyone who braved the weather to drive the Evergreen Raceway (some TOPLESS in the pouring rain) last summer, August 7th, 2010 remember the fun we all had together !!!???

Can you believe that it has been ONE ENTIRE YEAR since that event !!!
