I have combined the SSR activities with the Beach Cruise Schedule. Looks like a pretty busy weekend.
The Wine Cruise and Poker Run should be a great event - prizes are excellent.
Tried to upload the PDF file Sue had created from the information I sent her, but it's too big.
So.... here it is in regular word format. Sue will email the information in PDF format, and we will have printed copies at the Beach Cruise.

you mean Frank hasn't signed up yet?
By the way Ray - love the fact we can register on thursday afternoon
Sandy
Minor change of plans - we're cancelling the Thursday afternoon SSR only registration. The Washington convoy is going to be pretty tight getting to their rooms, then Zias, and quite a few others are also tight on their schedule, so we were down to only a few who could take advantage of it.
Pre-registration will be much quicker this year. I already have the first 250 registrations pre-printed, so no writing windshield cards by hand.
We will have a separate line for pre-registered, and the Beach Cruise shirts will be outside the door for those who have pre-ordered shirts.
See you all at Zia's Thursday at 6 PM.

Hello Penticton,Bc bound fanatics: There seems to be little emphasis on the parade friday nite, more on the poker run and cruises etc. I think the importance of being in the parade is really a nice statement, the crowd got a big kick from our group of ten or twelve participants, while many of you were out lost in sixty seconds cruise of the wilderness,I know measures are in place to correct folks getting lost etc.It would be cool,IMO, if we got more ssr's to participate in the parade, especially, if we do the precision topless maneuver,
like we talked about doing early. The crowd really thought it was cool when
we did the top up top down thing, got a nice ovation and lots of smiley faces! MY 2 cents worth>>>>>

Hal,
Every registration confirmation went out with an invitation to participate in the parade. The parade is listed on the Beach Cruise agenda, as well as the SSR agenda posted above.
We've got a pretty good response from SSRs so far, and there is nothing on our schedule that would interfere with the parade. Poker hands need to be turned in by 5 PM, which gives plenty of time to make it to the parade staging area for the 6 PM start.
SSRs will be last in the parade, to allow the opportunity to stop and take tops up or down. Hopefully the fire chief's red SSR will be there with lights and sirens.
I'll bring it up again at Zia's to make sure everyone is aware and hopefully participating. I'll be at the park getting our area ready, and making sure we have a path through to our parking area.
At my request, the parade organizer will make sure that each registration package includes a map to the staging area for the parade to make sure no one gets lost.
I've just highlighted the parade info on the original post.
See you at Zia's Thursday.
