Hello to all Pacific Northwest SSR Fanatics: It's that time of the year for the
Saints car club to sponsor their 22ND annual waterfront Park CRUZ 2009.As always,their will be trophies awarded in over 50 categories!Dash plaques to all participants,great door prizes,plenty of food,vendors and oldies rock & roll
music to set the ambiance of classic,customs,hot rods galore,simply stated,one mighty fine outdoor car show in our little old Port Orchard by the bay. Registration starts at 7:00AM to noon,still only $10.00 per entry(vehicle)
This Sunday event should bring close to 600 show vehicles this year!
Last year we won a trophy for best car club participation! Be nice to win it again! Let me know if you will be attending,so I can plan for parking area etc! Thanks Fanatics,hope to see you Sunday August 9Th in Port Orchard by the bay!

Toni and I had lunch there today,how absolutely beautiful this area is when you have a nice breeze blowing, ninety degrees,blue skies,eating outside on the veranda,it could be anywhere in the world,nothing more beautiful to us this glorious day! Hope August 9th is comparable,maybe a tad cooler though

Hello Pac NW Fanatics,many of you missed a great show!There were over 500
custom speciality cars from classics,rods,motorcycles to our own SSR's,what a grand display of American auto art!! The day began at 5:00AM for most of us as we prepared to get our cars down to the display area etc!My partner and good friend took our beautiful(for sale) new black 2004 Thunderbird with only 226miles on it along with our 2006 red supercharged #333 Saleen and of course our yellow baby SSR to the display area on the waterfront,Jack & Glenn were already there when I arrived with the SSR.Tim showed up soon after with his black & silver SSR.The weather was just perfect for an outdoor car show,early morning fog that burned off and left us with low seventy degrees and sunshine with blue skies,big thank you to the man upstairs for making it a perfect day!!Thanks fanatics for making this another fun gathering of special fanatics !!
The Pt. Orchard Car Show turned out to be a good day. We thouht we would be fighting some rain but once the clouds cleared and the sun broke through the day was great. We only had 4 R's show up (Tim, Hal, Glenn & JAck) but we looked good and had lots of people admiring our rides.
More P/O Pics:My Grandson Mark featured in two pics,growing like a weed! This little green "52 chevy is a real sleeper,has a 350 v-8 under the hood all reworked along with nova clip on the front end,nicely done,looks like a mild old custom,love them done that way!!

I was participating in the North Bend 100th Anniversary Parade, along with 11 other Smarts, featuring THREE PINKs, representing three states: Washington, Oregon and Idaho !! We were all over the road as we had NO LEADER !!!! Missed Glenn & Jack for sure !!!!
