From the great run across Puget Sound it 'Nice-Eh' via the Edmonds Ferry, to the "Get Ready to Party Party in my "Suite" at the Comfort Inn, to Valet Parking at the car show a la Wayne, to the great entertainment (by our own RESIDENT SNEAKING PIGEON Donny), and especially to Toni & Hal for a wonderful Italian Dinner Feast, THANK YOU EVERYONE !!!! Just got home......... (I met my cousins' in Brownsville Monday for lunch at their lovely home - lots of family sharing and hugs..... ) and home in rush-hour traffic via the Bainbridge Island Ferry..........

Well,oddly enough,today I get a call from one of the Saints car club officials.
He asks me how I spelled my last name? Well,one thing led to another when I said I have a bone to pick with you Saints guys?! Oh boy I knew I shouldn't have called! he said. LOL Actually he was a good sport and he explained that they counted from the registration cards what club we were representing.well many of the cards had nothing in the blanks. Bottom line is the Gig Harbor "Cruisers" won the trophy based on their club affiliation. That sucks,they need a model vehicle best representation category,hell,there are 65 members of the saints car club,they can't participate because they were sponsoring the show,but if a bunch of them were to go to Gig Harbor,let's say with random types of vehicles they would win hands down! So that needs to be addressed IMO.So that's why we didn't get the trophy after two officials said we would based on physical count,he said they don't do a physical count,well that's BS! Because two officials told several Fanatics we were the only car group with twelve like vehicles,turns out that wasn't the critiera for best participation!
Oh well,too many heads not communicating with each other looks like ?!
The saving grace was Donny and Roy getting their trophies!

the Saints choosing their club as the winners - they hosted the event - was the PITS !!!! I've discussed this with several of my friends that do many many car shows (heaven forbid)........ they also think their choice was the PITS !!!! I really hope that next year's Saint sponsored PO car show is boycotted !!!! I'm in line !! You can use my comments.......

Sue: I don't think you understood,the saints are exempt from competing for trophies! The Club that won the best participation was Milo's boys in Gig Harbor! My contention is they have far more members with all kinds of cars,a small group like ours can't compete with car clubs unless they are all of one
series or model,then that would be fair,like T-birds,corvettes,etc.We were told by clipboard carrying Saints that we had the only group with as many SSR's that we had and therefore would be in line to win the best representation trophy,they told this to Donny,JD and Roy. I have nothing against the Cruisers,them SOB's>>>LOL,just kidding folks,it's the way the Saints handled the affair,it wasn't right IMO> We don't boycott anybody for a bad call,Iv'e let them know our position and they seem to agree that a new category is needed!
