Sad Loss of an incredible NW SSR FANTASTIC
To all of our Pacific Northwest SSR family, I am saddened to tell you of the sudden death of Tim LeCompte, TMZSSR, Wednesday, March 9th, 2011.
Tim died of a heart attack in his sleep - no doubt dreaming of his wonderful SSR family who meant so much to both he and his wife, Mary. He was so looking forward to the Spring and Summer SSR adventures with everyone.
Services will be in Forest Grove, Oregon, March 22nd at 2:00 pm. If you would like to contact Mary, please PM me for more information (she is not computer skilled, so has asked me to help). I know she will need lots of support having lost her life-long mate, and also help with his incredible SSR when the time comes. Your involvement in this wonderful SSR FANTASTIC family made him the happiest guy alive........... Mary asked me to extend her deepest thank you's for all you gave to to his total happiness.
Condolences to:
Mary LeCompte

Tragic news to hear of Tim's passing. Tim, Tony, and I just started up a PDX Area E&G after the first of the year. Last month's meeting at The Byways Cafe was his idea. He will be sorely missed in the NW SSR community. I know he and Mary planned to go to Chelan and Penticton this summer. Nicolette and I will give Mary a call and stop by tomorrow to see if there is anything she needs to be done. Thanks again Sue for getting this message out.
Cindy and I are very saddened about this loss of our dear friend Tim. He was an avid SSR member. Is there more detailed information about where his funeral will be? Also any word on whether Mary needs any help with anything? Please let us know. Thanks

Sorry to see another of the SSR Family has left us, but even more important, I am sorry for the loss in his family. No one will feel it more then them. May God bless them and keep them safe.

Hi All,
Nicolette and I stopped by to see Mary yesterday evening after finishing up at the SIP wine festival in McMinnville. She is staying with a sister-in-law, Jemmy, who lives in Forest Grove for now, but one of her sons is moving up soon from California to provide some comfort and security. The funeral services will be held, as Sue noted earlier, at 2PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Mt Olive Lutheran Church, 2327 17th Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116. Mary indicated that Tim's wish was to be cremated with his ashes spread at the coast. She thought that we might be interested in giving an appropriate farewell.
