SAVE THE DATE: August 28-30th, 2009 Weekend at Semiahmoo Resort

Something for Everyone - Design Your Own Fun Weekend with the Northwest SSR Fantastics! Hosted by Dard & Terry

Check into the Semiahmoo Resort, take in the scenic beauty, then gather for wine and snacks at Dard & Terry's home, before driving to Blaine for a delicious meal. Saturday will be a smorgasbord of choices -- take a swim in the pool, enjoy the hot tub, sauna and/or steam room; have one of the wide range of massages, facials, etc; walk on the beach; sit in a rocking chair and read in the sun; take a walk on the lovely paths; ride the Plover Ferry to Blaine via the seal float; visit the Fishing History Museum. (Semiahmoo was home to the largest salmon cannery on the west coast and parts of the cannery are incorporated into the Hotel).

There will be several choices of great drives, depending on the desired amount of time. One Cruise will be a day excursion on Chuckanut Drive to La Conner, Anacortes & Deception Pass with lunch along the waterfront. Other shorter Cruises will be led by Dard & Terry and Ron & Donna, so you will have the opportunity for a variety of activities. Back to the hotel for a delicious dinner in a Private Banquet Room where we will be free to visit, move around and enjoy getting to better know one other. Sunday we will check out of the hotel and start our drive to Artist Point on Mt. Baker, stopping for breakfast in Lynden or Sumas. Artist Point is the take off point for several hikes and great photo opportunities. Stop together for dinner or head home looking forward to the next adventure!!
