Not Over Yet

PA is getting pounded. Cars all over the roads. My two sons got stuck trying to get home from work. Had to go get them out with the Silverado. It's coming down like crazy. There must be at least a foot. Me and my R are safe and sound.
The upside, we will finally have a White Christmas

It started snowing about 3 this afternoon.....I just went and measured 7 inches and it's still coming down. We don't usually get snow when it's this cold, 2 below 0 right now.

Snow in Oregon

This is our 3rd winter since we moved to Oregon, last 2 winters we had 2 or 3 storms drop 3 or 4 inches but melted off within a day or so, we been pretty much snowed in since Monday, had a break in the weather Thursday and managed to drive the HHR down to the store and back on ice and slush, then got about 6 inches of snow since then, here is a picture taken off our front deck yesterday.

Bellevue had about 26" at my house (457 feet in elevation)...........

My hill has not been plowed in two weeks, and even with the HUMMER in 4-wheel drive, it is a challenge as not only is the wheel base wider, but so are the huge tires....

No waste pick-up in over two weeks, but finally got the mail delivered after a week !!

Here are a few photos of my snow !! Notice I decorated in Pink and WHITE this year !!
1. First snowfall
2. Hail storm - lasted about three hours - it looked like thousands of cans of Silly String !
3. Back deck with a mere 8".. it built up to over 20" by the second day
4. PoooooooR Santa - looks like he spent the night of his back !
5. Too much to shovel again......... it had to be done about three times a day !!

Wow! You got snow. I'm not sure but probably about 15" cumulative here and seems like we've had a lot. Just light fluffy stuff so easy to move. That second picture of the hailstorm is bizarre! Now if that Smart Car was a little brighter he'd find some cover. Very Christmassy!

In three days with back to back storms we received a good 18+ inches here on top of that freezing rain. Hit 61 degrees yesterday and it's just about gone Had we gotten anymore I would not have known where to put it you could not see backing out of the driveway as it was!!!

Snow???

You gotta be kidding me....it was almost 60 here today. We just tell people it snows a lot to keep the Cali/Texans away.

Stay bundled up NW group...just think about how hot it was in Roslyn, we were dreaming of a snowstorm that weekend!!!
