GOOD Golly Miss Molly>>>>>

Hello Big Smity:Yeah, our yellow baby gets indoor quarters,I know you keep yours outside! Speaking of outside,Iwas going to take the SSR out today, last weather report I saw it was suppose to be sunshine and 47 degrees! Got up this morning 6:00 AM and my wife asked if I would drive her to work? Well, I looked out the window and witnessed a darn blizzard looking ordeal, with snow flying every which way! Good golly miss molly, seems like I just got done putting the snow shovel away, then bang, winter came blowing back to our
little town by the bay(puget sound) that is to say! Well, just wait a day or two and it will be gone(the snow). So where should we set our compass for
this coming March? I think a few day tripers would be fun to get the ball rolling and once we all gather for lunch at the appropiate place relative to our
run,we all can start talking about and planning for our next outing! What ya say fanatics?! We need to hear from our great parade organizers in Puallup,Orting area,Jack,Glen ,Gino etc. Give us some ideas for the 2009 trailblazer ssr fanatic run, guys&gals! Later

First opportunity out on Sunday.thru the hills & valleys

Jack,
I was a day later on sunny Sunday.I also couldn't wait ,so I took a spin through the hills and valleys and then onto SR16 to blow out the cobwebs. These SSR's can really lay you back in your seat.......I love the highway on-ramps!!!! All we need now is a few storm events to wash off the winter sanding from our roads and it's associated dust.Waiting on the word from the Wagonmaster to.......Head-em-up & move-em-out.

Got to Drive the SSR today

Today was the nicest day we have had in quite a while was sunny and got up to almost 60 degrees so I drove the SSR to the school bus yard and back with the top down felt great too bad it is such a short drive to my work.

Good for you, it was 77 here today.

I told Sweet Sue, I would try to get up to your neck of the Woods this year.

Oregon Coast Trip

If you are planning to come to Oregon this year think about joining us along the Oregon Coast in September, the weather that time of year is perfect and the Oregon Coast is spectacular.

Hello SSR Fanatics!

Hey,Glen,Ray, Tim and Moody,.good to hear from you guys!I remember when,a year out of high school,a couple of my buddies and myself drove to Seaside, Oregon in my 1957 Corvette, drove in at 6:00AM to the parking lot, near the Lewis & Clark monument, with a non opened case of Olympia Beer in the trunk,we see the only car besides mine,a local cop sitting in the car staring us down,he jumps out and quickly asks me to open my trunk, and of course, there's a case of four dotters! You know I just thought ,that SOB took our beer and I bet he drank it!Yeah,we all got a ticket for possesion,$35.00,that was alot of $ back then(1962) for a nineteen year old!The cool thing was my buddy defending us in court,it was like nite court, what a scam, they nailed all the out of state kids for this,it's how they paid(cop's) his salary! My friend Barney did become an Attorney, tax, lives in the Bay area now.Anyway Tim,that would be a fun run for us Pac NW Fanatics.
How close to your dwelling is Seaside? Would have to be a weekend event.
The Ocean Shores area would be a fun run also! Actually there are many places we can decide on,but first we need to blaze trail, right! So,do I hear
a suggestion for our first run fanatics?!

We live in Sheridan,OR 30 miles east of Lincoln City off of Hwy 18, we are probably 90-100 miles from Seaside but still not a bad drive from where we live.

Not waiting for spring

Hi Fanatics,

I took Go N BYBY for a drive last month, ya see we live between two rivers the Puyallup and the Carbon in the Orting valley. The water was risen and they said that it was going to get a lot higher. My son offered his grage to store the SSR in till the water went down. Well to my surprise the water never got close to our house thank God. But now every time I see my grandson Evan (20 months) he asks PAPA'S purple truck, I tell him my purple truck is home sleeping and he go's SHHHHHH!

Waiting for sun,
Jack

Yeah Glenn: We can tentatively plan for March 2nd or third weekend,Sat or Sun. let's hear from other Fanatics for a trail blazer run! We can meet at Kitsap Cty Bank pk lot, like we did last run to Port Angeles etc. We need a quorum here! What say you,NW Fanatics?!

I hear that six litre running, sounding mighty fine, just can't wait to rev her,and listen to her whine, as I turn the key .....,that rumbling exhaust sound will fill my ears, that's when I know us fanatics are all at the wheels,of our special R's>
I hear the fanatics comin there rollin round the bend, they aint seen no sunshine since I don't when, well I left a fanatic in Penticton, just to say good bye,now I
am stuck in my garage, hearing a idle whine, cause spring is soon upon us,we'll
be cruzin and feeling fine>>>>>>cause I got the ssr itchin,to meet all those fanatic "R's" > Hello,my name is Johnny Dash>>> Well I hear that truck a comin>>>

You FANTASTICS are a HOOT !!!

I've had my SSR out whenever the roads are dry - thank heavens for a good heater and a warm coat on both my dog, Barrister, and me !! Had to warm the truck up a bit on several occasions just to feel positive about putting the top down, and will admit to praying while it was in the process !!

We'll get some more ideas for Northwest Events flying around next week, so please put your thinking caps on and add your thoughts to ours !!

Happy Valentine's Day !

Where on earth is SPRING !!! I just had SNOW again yesterday !!!

Lots of ideas coming in, so I promise get more information to put on your busy calendars.........

I'm jealous. That's a bit early to wake up the SSR around here. Still lots of sand on the roads, and the mountain passes are downright ugly.

Have a blast on your spring wake-up cruise.

Good time to do some recruiting for the Beach Cruise. Still have about 30 rooms available. Elvis Festival is on the same weekend in the park next door and there's a car auction in the parkade at the Lakeside, so the Beach will be rocking.
